its rly no surprise that within the first few weeks of living in nyc i hop on the subway n go to a music festival on my own. last weekend i went to the meadows which is a kinda new fest in queens n it was pretty much my indie bitch peak. v diff than la festivals, less shitty people in the crowd, surprisingly more personal space, same amount of ugly dancing.

Dear, FYF I truly do love you. Even though I lost my voice, couldn't feel my feet, had dirt everywhere, and went deaf, it was worth it and I would do it all over again.

Last weekend was FYF aka the best. weekend. of. the. summer. Withdrawals are hitting me so hard and I figured writing out my first festival experience might make me miss it a little less. Probably not, but worth a try. Ok, so let's take this day by day.
